“I feel as though the TCYP internship came into my life just when I needed it to and provided me the means to do exactly what I had always dreamed of doing. I quickly grew bonds with my fellow interns, finished training, and jumped right into the School Age Care (SAC) program. This is where I flourished! I immediately fell in love with the kids, their crazy energy, goofy personalities, and even their challenging behaviors. I went into the program with the idea that I was going to change some kids’ lives and I left knowing what really happened: they changed mine.”

This has definitely been one of the most challenging things I’ve ever been through, but it’s also the most rewarding experience I’ve ever been through. It’s really opened my eyes to so much.
